Lila gives us two poems written in different decades that encourage us all.

The Wren
Full-songed, the wren
fills my window with music
to banish bad dreams.
I glimpse God.

Wilbur’s Message
I saw my neighbor,
a family-protected, mentally-challenged man,
but in their nearby hayfield
He threw back his arms,
arched his back,
and shouted for joy.
While I,
not heralding the day,
the glorious, sun-filled day,
sit here and ponder and question.
Why can’t I call forth the message?
Love, Lila
